One might note from our partial list of area activities, mentioned below, that there may be
little time to spend around the motel. However, some suggestions ... Our swimming pool area is a great place to enjoy the sun, read or just relax. Enjoy the shade of our patio table umbrellas while watching the kids play.
Or retreat out back and claim your own shade tree. Pull up a chair and start a new book! (we'll even loan you a radio)

The back lawn is spacious and private offering the kids a great place to romp and play. During the evening hours, you may hear the chorus of bull frogs, peepers, crickets and other marine life that populate the small pond that lies toward the rear of the property. We want you to enjoy the outdoors, so arise early, grab your coffee and stroll about while enjoying the chirping of birds, or watch for the occasional visit of fox, rabbit and other native critters in the early morning quiet.

If cooking outdoors is your fancy, (even if the weather is less than agreeable) you would be welcome to drop those burgers, steaks on the large BBQ grill under a canopy situated below tall shade trees not far from the pool area.
We shall close November 01, 2006. Due to the number of fine ski areas nearby, snowmobiling (the trail directly behind the motel ends up in Canada), sled dog races,ice fishing derbies....... has tempted us to re-open February, 2007. If you have plans to be in the lakes area for the winter activities, give us a call!

Lake Winnipesaukee Motel holds memories of great times spent there. The best is the hospitality of the gracious owners. They make you feel like you are part of their family.
Bike week is also lots of fun - they come from everywhere in the country to meet and party and parade their bikes. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there is soooo much to do in the area
- we mostly eat. See you next year!! |
